About Us
The Berkenyeliget Guesthouse in Szigliget was brought to life by our love for Szigliget and our respect for the past. During the renovation of the building, which once belonged to the gardener of the Esterházy family, we considered it important to preserve the charm of the traditional Balaton Uplands architecture, including the thick stone walls, and the vaulted and timbered ceilings.
At the same time, we ensure our guests' comfort and the conditions for a carefree rest. We are proud that based on our guests' feedback, we have achieved our goal, and the Guesthouse has received a three-star rating from the Hungarian Hotel and Restaurant Association.

Our residential suites
The Berkenyeliget Guesthouse is located in the center of the settlement, on a quiet street, near Szigliget Castle. The guesthouse has four separate, independently accessible living units, two on the upper floor and two on the ground floor. In addition, a communal kitchen, a common terrace opening from it, an inner courtyard with games, and a closed parking lot are available to our guests.
